City of Kastela

Our town is specific because of the fact that it developed around 7 settlements (Kaštel Štafilić, Kaštel Novi, Kaštel Stari, Kaštel Lukšić, Kaštel Kambelovac, Kaštel Gomilica and Kaštel Sućurac) or around castles. Each village has its own particularity merged into character of this part of Mediterranean. Radun and Rudine emerge in recent years as the two new smaller centers. Kaštela is of the places with the best traffic infrastructure. We have an international airport Split – Kaštela, a railway station at Kaštel Stari, and access to Split – Zagreb highway at Prgomet and Vučevica.

Kastel Stari

Kastel Stari is the oldest of seven small towns that belong to the city of Kastela. It is situated on the attractive coast between Trogir and Split. The beaches of Kastela Riviera are made of six km long bays and bathing places, covered by deep shade of pines and tamaris. We recommend Kastel Stari for a family vacation, and the vicinity of Split, the tourist metropolis of Central Dalmatia, guarantees all kinds of fun and numerous places where you can go in the evening.

City of Split

Split is the main urban, cultural and transport center of Dalmatia. Split is a 1700 year old city and is included in the UNESCO list of world heritage sites because of its numerous archaeological, historical and cultural monuments, especially Diocletian’s palace, which is the center of the city. It has all the attractiveness and wealth of a modern Mediterranean city and it lives in a slow rhythm which is very easy to get used to. The first citizen of Split was Emperor Diocletian who had the famous Diocletian’s palace built, by which we recognize the city today.

City of Solin

Solin, the cradle of ancient and early Croatian history is located on the Jadro River, also known as the Croatian Jordan. The oldest Marian shrine in Croatia, established by the Queen Jelena more than a thousand years ago, is located in Solin. Its church holds her tombstone and was visited by the Holy Father, Pope John Paul II, in 1998. The ancient Salona lies in the heart of Solin and was once the capital of the Roman province of Dalmatia. It is the largest archaeological park in Croatia, whose size is attested by the monumental ramparts with towers and gates, a forum with temples, an amphitheater and cemeteries with Salonian martyrs (Manastirine, Kapljuč, Marusinac). Salona was a town with over 60 000 inhabitants and, according to the legend, the birthplace of Emperor Diocletian.

Šibenik

Welcome to Sibenik - a city that successfully combines its glorious past with its gift of natural beauty. While sightseeing in this city you will surely be impressed by the well-known cathedral Sv. Jakov, the most important renaissance structure in Croatia. A city, whose name was spoken by kings, Mother Nature has provided with a wealth of islands and islets encompassed by blue sea, as well as the fascinating landscape of Krka National Park. Primošten

The place is adorned with long pebble beaches and a beautiful promenade surrounded by old town walls. One of the most famous and most beautiful beaches in Primosten is the Raduca beach. During the summer months numerous festivities are organized in Primosten, such as: Primosten habits, fishing night, folklore and Dalmatian folk music evenings. For those in search of fun until the early morning hours, there is a disco club, Aurora, which is one of the most popular clubs on the Adriatic. Sports and recreation fans can enjoy tennis, table tennis, mini golf, beach volleyball, jet-ski as well as various water sports. If you would like to get acquainted with the gastronomy of the region and savor different specialties, visit the restaurants “Staro selo” and “Amfora”, as well as the taverns “Jerko” and “Torkul”.

Zadar

Zadar – is a town of exceptional history and remarkably valuable cultural heritage. It is located in the very heart of the Adriatic and in the north of Dalmatia. It is one of the more popular tourist destinations and has also been pronounced as the “entertainment center on the Adriatic” by the London Times magazine, as well as the “new Croatian cool capital” by the Guardian. The rapturous history of this town has left many scars upon it, as well as a valuable monumental heritage. The town of Zadar is a destination easily approachable by land, sea or air, and is directly connected with other larger towns in the Republic of Croatia. The town has an extremely well-indented coast, the islands and intact nature of which allures many yachtsmen. The town is rich with countless recent architectural achievements such as the first Sea Music Organ in the world, as well as the urban installation “Salute to the Sun”.

NP Krka

The lakes of this Karst beauty, River Krka, are peaceful and silent while its numerous cascades are blaringly loud and playful. The beauty and diversity of this river resembles a magnificent orchestral symphony under the direction of the Creator himself. For thousands of years Krka has obstinately hollowed out its path through rock and has created its remarkable waterfalls. The peculiar travertine cascades of its waterfalls are extremely rare in the world. In the year 1985 its remarkable beauty was recognized and placed under protection proclaiming the 46 kilometres of the Krka River flow which occupy 111 square kilometres a national park.

NP Plitvice

Plitvice Lakes National Park is one of the greatest natural wonders of Europe. Embraced by high wooded mountains, one beneath another lie sixteen beautiful lakes of crystal blue-green water. Connected to each other by a series of foaming cascades and thundering waterfalls, the lakes are fed by many rivers and streams. Over the millennia, waters of these lakes have dissolved the limestone rock and carved out the valley in which they now lie. Through the process of sedimentation of calcium carbonate and the work of special kinds of algae and moss, tufa or travertine has been deposited, and is still deposited to form the natural dams that separate the lakes.
